Chorusing Symbionts [Prototype]

Chorusing Symbionts by Matteo Marangoni investigates interspecies music, inviting listeners to imagine new symbiotic relationships between biological and artificial life.

Outline

Chorusing Symbionts investigates the possibility of interspecies music bridging the worlds of humans, robots, and animals. The project takes the form of an ensemble of artificial creatures that are acoustically and energetically integrated in the environment. Inhabiting public gardens and parks, they generate spatial electronic music, inviting listeners to pay attention to their surroundings and imagine new symbiotic relationships between biological and artificial life.
